Discover How To Write Magnetic Stories

From a Bestselling Author

and Ghostwriter

While Creating Impact and Having a Ton of Fun!

If you’ve ever wanted to write a book, maybe dreamt of writing a bestseller, showing up on the NY Times Bestseller list or be snagged up in a bidding war between publishing houses with great fanfare—

I get it.

It’s so many wanna be writers' dream.

Or maybe your dream is to finally sit down and get that story about your grandmother out.

Or craft that nonfiction work that you know will impact people in a huge way.

And like most creatives—writers are often met with fears, doubts, challenges—both internal and external.

Your Image

The fear of having nothing of value to say.

Believing everything has already been written before—especially your idea.

Worrying no one will read your words.

Struggling to finish a page, a chapter, a book.

Wondering if your story is actually any good.

Thinking long and hard about the how to publish . . . instead of writing.

Staring at a blank page wanting to rip out chunks of hair.

Worrying about making this word-thing work when there are bills to pay, mouths to feed—life life-ing you.

But here’s what I know . . .

If you can relate to any of this, if you’ve had a dream to write a book—maybe a memoir, maybe a fictional series—I want to clue you into something important.

You are a writer.

Period.

You are a writer because that idea to write lives in you.

If you were not capable, you would not have the urge, itch, thought, desire to write.
Period.

So now the real question becomes . . . What the hell are you going to do about it?

That desire, that dream, that nudge that whispers or roars—Now is the time!

Will now be the moment you finally stop thinking about writing and instead pick up your pen and put inked words to physical paper?

Will this be the day you finally give your fingers permission to hit those keys and tap-tap-tap the story that lives within you . . . out?

I want to help you do just that.

Because I’ve been there, wondering—Can I flipping do this?—but having a greater urge to simply write and so I did.

I've gotten rejection letters. Enough to wallpaper my bathroom.

Seriously.

It was a choice to not allow those rejection letters to stop me from doing what I loved—writing.

It was a decision I made to wake up each day and write 2,500 words, five days a week, even though no one was paying me nor was it putting word-food on my table for years and years and yep, years.

I’ve been there . . . allowing that nagging doubt to creep in and ask,

Is it worth it? Who are you to think you can make it as a writer? Make a living doing what you love? That’s not for you, Jill. You can’t even get a book deal. One hit wonder is what you are.

Harsh, no?

That voice in your head. Oh, I still remember that voice.

My sole work, after writing, was to tone that voice down and raise up the one that whispered-shouted—

YES, YOU CAN! YOU. GO. GIRL.

Your Image

And over time, that voice became louder, firmer, more rooted in belief.

But I’ve been there—struggling to make ends meet.
Worried—until I chose to push that worry to the wayside and say

I GOT THIS.

I made a choice to wake up daily and do the thing.

Write, Writer, write.

As though my very life depended on it.

Because it did.

And that’s been my very quiet life.

Working on myself as much if not more than my craft.

Believing in myself even when no one else did . . . until one day someone did.

And now, 20-plus years and 66 books later, I'm sharing what I've learned. With you.

Hey there, you may or may not know me, I’m Jill.

Your Image

A multiple best-selling author you've never heard of, because I’ve enJOYed hiding in plain sight.

I've written more than 44 of books under pen names, and over 20 ghostwritten for others—some high-profile, red carpet walking individuals.

But at heart, I’m a small town girl who discovered that writing stories was better than simply telling them to my non-reactionary stuffed animals.

Written stories that could be shared again and again and again.

And I’ll clue you in on a little secret.

I sucked at school, didn't read until age 9, and never really got grammar. (To this day I can’t explain what a predicate does or is.)

But what I can do—is write in such a way that captivates the reader, draws them in, and leaves them satisfied . . .yet forever wanting more.

Telling stories literally became my drug of choice. And helping others do the same, a close second.

So by age 12, I made a choice—and that word is key.

To be a writer.

And so I was.

Now, after just turning 50—
yep, and not ashamed or afraid to admit it—

I can look back at the library of books I’ve written—and simply smile.

Yes, telling stories can pay.

Yes, writers can make bank.

I share all this to simply say I’ve been there. And I got through it.

Through rejection letters, even after selling my first book.

Through discussions with editors who loved my work—
but wanted to change literally everything.

Through pressing deadlines, my self-imposed fears of wondering if I even had anything left to say, to share, to write.

Above I share that I write 2,500 words each and every morning, no less than five days a week.

Those are simply my morning words—not words for a book, a client, a paycheck.

While I’m not saying you must do that too . . .

Because I took the time. Because I chose to make writing a priority in my life over just about everything else.

I’m sharing that tid-bit because it opened the door to mastery.

Mastery I’d like you to be able to access, consume and implement with ease.
